Service Agreement
Effective date: April 4, 2026. This Service Agreement governs your use of Aurora Mobi Limited websites, applications, games, and related services.
1. Acceptance and Contracting Party
By accessing or using our services, you agree to this Agreement and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the services. The contracting party is Aurora Mobi Limited.
2. Service Scope
Services include mobile applications, mobile games, web portals, support channels, and enterprise solution services. Functionality may vary by region, device capability, legal requirement, and partner distribution channel.
3. Eligibility and Age Requirements
3.1 Minimum Age
You must meet the legal minimum age required in your jurisdiction to create an account, provide consent for data processing, and make digital purchases. Where parental consent is legally required, guardians must complete the consent process before use.
3.2 Child and Teen Safeguards
For child-appropriate services, we apply age-sensitive controls such as reduced data collection, restricted ad personalization, moderated communication features, and purchase safeguards. Adults are responsible for supervising minors under their care.
3.3 Regional Age Compliance Examples
- EEA member states: digital consent age may range from 13 to 16 depending on local law.
- United States: additional child protections apply to users under 13 and enhanced opt-out controls may apply for teens under certain state laws.
- United Kingdom: child design principles may require elevated protections for users under 18.
4. Account Registration and Security
Users must provide accurate information, maintain account confidentiality, and promptly report unauthorized activity. We may suspend accounts used for fraud, abuse, policy evasion, or unlawful conduct.
5. Acceptable Use Rules
You agree not to:
- Use the service for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful activity.
- Bypass technical controls, anti-fraud systems, or age gates.
- Upload malware, automate abusive traffic, or conduct reverse engineering where prohibited by law.
- Harass, threaten, defame, or infringe rights of other users or third parties.
- Exploit platform vulnerabilities or payment systems for unauthorized gain.
6. App Store and Google Play Distribution Terms
6.1 Platform Governance
Applications distributed via Apple App Store and Google Play are additionally subject to each platform's developer and end-user policy frameworks, billing systems, and content standards. We implement product controls to align with these requirements, including disclosure, rating, and user reporting channels.
6.2 Billing and Purchase Handling
In-app purchases processed through platform billing are governed by platform payment terms, refund channels, and tax handling requirements. We validate receipt status for entitlement fulfillment and fraud prevention.
6.3 Policy-Constrained Features
Certain features may be disabled or modified in specific markets to maintain platform and legal compliance, including ad personalization controls, social interaction features, and youth protection requirements.
7. Content, Intellectual Property, and Licenses
7.1 Our Rights
All software, designs, trademarks, and service materials are owned by Aurora Mobi Limited or licensed to us. No ownership rights are transferred by service access.
7.2 Limited User License
We grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the services for lawful personal or agreed enterprise purposes under this Agreement.
7.3 User Content
When users submit feedback, support materials, or permitted content, users retain ownership while granting us a necessary license to operate, troubleshoot, improve, and secure services.
8. Advertising, Monetization, and Commercial Practices
Products may include IAA and IAP mechanisms. We implement ad-frequency governance, disclosure controls, and policy-compliant monetization practices. Rewarded ad experiences and purchase offers are described in-product where required.
9. Service Availability and Changes
We continuously update features, performance, and security controls. We may add, modify, suspend, or retire service components based on product strategy, legal requirements, and risk management. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability in all regions.
10. Enterprise and Managed Service Terms
For clients using solution, R&D support, managed operations, or managed maintenance services, additional contracts govern deliverables, service levels, milestones, acceptance criteria, confidentiality, data processing roles, and liability allocations.
11. Privacy and Data Processing
Use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. Users must not submit unlawful personal data of others. Enterprise clients must ensure they hold lawful grounds for data provided to Aurora Mobi for processing under service contracts.
12. Jurisdiction-Specific Compliance Commitments
12.1 Europe and UK
Service operation incorporates transparency, lawful basis, rights handling, and transfer safeguards under relevant data and consumer regulations.
12.2 United States
State-specific obligations related to privacy rights, consumer disclosures, and youth protections are applied where required by law.
12.3 Asia-Pacific and Other Regions
Regional legal obligations in markets such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Mainland China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and others are reflected through market-specific controls, disclosure practices, and operational restrictions where necessary.
13. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, illegal conduct, abuse, payment fraud, policy evasion, or security threats. Users may stop using services at any time and request account deletion where available.
14. Disclaimers
Services are provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis to the extent permitted by law. We apply quality controls but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free functionality, or specific commercial outcomes.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aurora Mobi and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, reputation, or business opportunities, except where liability cannot be excluded by mandatory law.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aurora Mobi from claims and losses arising from your unlawful use of services, violation of this Agreement, or infringement of third-party rights.
17. Export, Sanctions, and Trade Compliance
You may not use services in violation of applicable export control and sanctions laws. Access can be restricted in territories where legal, policy, or sanctions obligations require limitation.
18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Unless mandatory local law requires otherwise, this Agreement is governed by laws applicable to Aurora Mobi's contracting entity jurisdiction. Disputes should first be addressed through good-faith negotiation by contacting support@auroramobi.com.
19. Changes to This Agreement
We may revise this Agreement for legal, operational, product, or security reasons. Updated versions become effective on publication unless otherwise stated. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
